MATTER OF CONSECRATION
What is your own Consecration demanding from you?
When it comes to the matter of Consecration, we must understand that it is a personal business between you and God.
What God demands from one person in the place of consecration often differs from what He demands from another. So trying to justify or explain your consecration to others is like giving yourself unnecessary headache — it may not make sense to them.
Or tell me why would God tell me not to eat until after 1 p.m. at a certain period of my life?
To someone who hasn’t received a similar instruction from God, that would sound strange. They might even tag you “oversabi sister/brother” or “I too know/overdo.”
But always remember this: Consecration is a personal walk with your Maker.
Consecration Comes in Levels
Consecration isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience. It comes in levels, depending on what God expects from you.
The Levites, for instance, by virtue of their calling and ministry, were required to maintain a higher standard of consecration. Their assignment demanded it.
Likewise, what God is preparing you for will determine the depth of your consecration.
The Sacrifices of Consecration.
There are things consecration will not permit you to do — not because those things are sinful, but because that’s the sacrifice your consecration demands.
I have a brother who doesn’t eat anything offered to him outside his home. He can’t go to parties or events and eat there.
Is eating at parties a sin? No. But that’s what his consecration requires of him.
So, my question to you is:
What is your own consecration demanding from you?
We have all been called out of darkness into God’s marvellous light to be a royal priesthood. And priests are known to be consecrated.
So, what is your own consecration?
Have you discovered it yet?
Go to God today and ask Him to reveal what your consecration demands of you.
Selah 🤍

A consecrated life is a life separated unto God. Absolute holy living, that's my consecration.
